AQUA-QUENCH 260 is a clear amber yellow liquid concentrate based on polyalkylene glycol. It is a versatile, water miscible polymeric hardening liquid for the homogenisation of aluminium alloys. The flexibility of the hardening rate and the uniform heat transfer properties of AQUA-QUENCH 260 avoid the poor properties of water or mineral oil based hardening fluids.
AQUA-QUENCH® 320 is a polymer quenchant with more "oil-like" quenching characteristics. AQUA-QUENCH 320 is a poly-vinyl-pyrolidone (PVP) based quenchant. Its slower cooling rate during the critical martensitic transformation temperature range minimizes risk of cracking and distortion and so enables the treatment of higher hardenability steels unsuitable for quenching in PAG type quenchants.
MAR-TEMP M 2303 is a new generation of high-performance, medium-speed hot martempering oil for use at temperatures up to 150°C. It has been formulated in our European Centre of Excellence with SHP (Synthetic High Performance) oil, selected for its outstanding properties and some very effective additives based on Houghton's long experience in heat treatment.
Mar-Temp M 240 has been developed for applications that require optimum hardness and reduced deformation, but where the use of high temperature hot curing oil is not justified.
